History of Sprouting Health
Dr Jeremy grew up in the Hunter and came back home to assist the people of the area and beyond in attaining their best health possible. Dr Olivia Thomas (née Scott) is originally from Launceston, Tasmania. Dr Olivia and Dr Jeremy opened Little Sprouts in January 2014 in Mackay. After the success of the Mackay practice, Little Sprouts Hunter Valley was opened soon after in October 2015. Little Sprouts grew into Sprouting Health Integrative Family Chiropractic in January 2020. Sprouting Health Newcastle opened in 2020. |
Dr Jeremy and Dr Olivia have a passion to see you reach your greatest potential in life. This vision is most achievable the earlier in life they are able to help you, as such was their passion for focusing their skills on babies and children. Their techniques however work equally well on all ages.

Dr Jeremy (Hunter Valley)
Dr Jeremy takes special interest in children and family care, he states that "By getting to the underlying cause of dysfunction through uncovering the three stressors, the body is remarkable at healing". He cannot stand to see someone held back by their health. "Do you know someone who isn't living out their potential and feels stuck because of their health? Well, I help those people rebound and get their life back".

Dr Anthony Ngo graduated from Macquarie University in 2009. After graduating, he has spent time in Korea helping less fortunate people who were in need of chiropractic care.
Since studying Applied Kinesiology and then studying Retained Neonatal Reflexes, Anthony has become passionate about helping children improve their health.

Dr David Ng is an adventurist who loves to travel and meet new people. He is passionate about health and wellness, helping people to perform at their best and put a smile on their faces.
Dr David has a special interest in helping manage musculoskeletal dysfunction and injuries. He utilises applied kinesiology to help in treating the underlying causes of the dysfunction.
After completing a five-year chiropractic training program at Macquarie University in 2018, he moved to Mackay and is ready to exert himself helping patients!

Dr Chloe (Mackay)
Dr Chloe is a dynamic CQU graduate and Mackay local, dedicated to helping people achieve their optimal health by providing high-quality, personalized chiropractic care.
Through a holistic approach, Dr Chloe takes a special interest in family style practice believing everyone in the family can benefit from Chiropractic treatment by identifying and addressing the root causes of a patient’s pain or discomfort.
Treatments with Dr Chloe include a variety of techniques including manual adjustments, soft tissue/massage, dry needling, mobilisation, postural/ergonomic advice and rehabilitation exercises. After completing five years of Chiropractic training Dr Chloe is thrilled to jump into the Mackay Chiropractic community and provide the best patient centred care possible.

Cheri
Newcastle and Hunter Valley (Rutherford) Practice Manager
For the past 6 years before coming to Sprouting Health Cheri had been a Vet Nurse and enjoyed working with a lot of fur babies. It has given her many amazing skills as a nurse and a leader but most importantly a nurturing personality.
After her daughter was diagnosed with Autism, Cheri sought out holistic approaches and treatments to help her child live her best life. This led her to Sprouting Health (then Little Sprouts) as a client and then as Practice Manager.
Cheri is a wife and mother to two beautiful children and strongly believes in the health and well-being of her family.
Cheri has a zest for life, an incredible energy and a kind heart and a big smile that lights up the room.
Cheri loves leading our teams here in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley Practices.
Newcastle and Hunter Valley (Rutherford) Practice Manager

Jess is passionate about holistic, natural health options to reduce our body's toxic load, enjoys a gluten and dairy free lifestyle and loves paleo.
Jess leads classes at various locations in Mackay for Time Out Tai Chi and believes posture and breathing are key to optimal health of the mind and body. The parallels are why Jess was excited to originally join the Little Sprouts team.
With a Certificate III in Fitness, Jess is continuing to develop her knowledge of the human body and has a keen interest in exercise, supplements and activators to optimise health.
Working with a supportive and valued team, Jess loves all Sprouts -
but especially the paediatric focus and those with specific needs. For Jess, the greatest gift for yourself, your family and the world is optimal health and well-being.

Hunter Valley (Rutherford) Assistant Manager
Leah began her journey with us in 2020 through work experience, then progressed into a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) role and is now our Assistant Manager. You’ll find Leah at the front desk, where she welcomes everyone with her bubbly, energetic, and caring personality.
Leah has always had a passion for this career, alongside her other great love—dance. When she’s not at Sprouts, you’ll find her at the studio dancing her heart out. Her background in dance has given her a strong understanding of the importance of health and wellbeing.
Leah’s biggest passion is dance teaching. Most afternoons, she teaches children a variety of dance styles. She loves seeing the smiles on their faces and watching their hard work come together on stage at concerts. Leah started as an assistant teacher many years ago and has grown into a dedicated dance educator, with her passion continuing to grow every year.
In her spare time, Leah enjoys going to the beach, shopping, cooking, spending time with her dog, and making memories with her partner and family.
