The first thing we will do is take a thorough history and then do a gentle exam to determine what is going on and to see if we can help.
Migrane and cervicogenic headaches can be identified by history and have been shown to have favourable claims regarding effectiveness with chiropractic care.
Migraine and tension-type headache are the two most common primary headache disorders in children. The three most common causes of acute headache in the pediatric population are viral infection, migraine, and sinusitis. Headaches in a child less than 3 years of age are rare and should raise suspicion for a secondary cause of headache.
