SPROUTING HEALTH CERTIFIED Clionial NUtritionist - NEWCASTLE, HUNTER, MACKAY
Meet our clinical NUtritionist - Alice
About Alice
Alice is a degree qualified Clinical Nutritionist.
Her passion is to help people find the resources they need to be empowered to live well. She believes in the amazing power of food to heal and can work with you to get started on the road to your best health yet!
When she was growing up, she knew nothing about cooking and nutrition; but was drawn to discover more, firstly copying down Jamie Oliver recipes from TV and reading all the books she could on nutrients and food science and then completing college studies to become a Clinical Nutritionist.
"In my adult life when my health was far from optimal, I turned to the natural healing power of food and from there my mind was opened to the many benefits of natural healthcare including Chiropractic - there is no going back!
I managed to turn my health around and learnt so much in the process I just can't wait to share with the world and help others to take control of their health, naturally."
What is Nutritional Medicine?
Nutritional medicine addresses, manages and helps to prevent acute and chronic health conditions, using a holistic and evidence-based approach. Nutritionists combine western medicine philosophy with traditional medicine, using dietary, lifestyle and nutraceutical prescriptions to rebalance your body and optimise your health and wellness. Nutritional medicine is used in conjunction with other forms of health care, including working alongside a team of specialists, to help provide you with full support in reaching your health goals.
Working with a clinical nutritionist will educate and empower you to make healthy, long-lasting nutrition and lifestyle decisions to optimise your health.
